01

Non-brand SEO: tool pages 4× the site CTR average

About 80% of Xmind's search clicks come from brand terms. Non-brand CTR sat at 0.7%.

  • Built pillar pages around diagram / mind map / timeline / SWOT / fishbone keywords
  • Designed standard modules: Hero / How to Create / Use Cases / Templates
  • Configured Schema and rich snippets so the product itself answers high-intent search

Non-brand CTR moved from 0.7% to 3.3% (≈4×), replacing blog traffic with tool-page traffic

02

Domain migration & technical SEO: protecting traffic through a major rebuild

xmind.com went through a three-phase rebuild (new site, content migration, IA reorg) with complex cross-domain redirects.

  • Decided keep / merge / redirect per page using traffic × backlinks × strategic value
  • Mapped redirect strategy across xmind.app / xmind.ai / xmind.com
  • Pushed Pagespeed and indexing improvements as part of the migration

28-day post-migration: ~140k impressions / ~14k clicks. Originally projected a 30% drop; actual loss came in far below that.

From SEO pages to ops products: a closed-loop system for 38 tool pages

Manually operating each tool page didn't scale.

  • Built tool-page automation, API experience verification, and Google Trends monitoring
  • Wired a full funnel: SEO → signups → paid
  • Treated each page as an ops object with KPIs, retros, and next-step actions

38 online tools with a unified dashboard and recurring retro pipeline — single-launch pages became an operating loop.

Turning App Store reviews into growth signal with AI

Xmind reviews were unstructured. Surfacing subscription blockers, feature requests, and paywall friction needed a system.

  • Classified reviews via Python + OpenAI API across feature / sentiment / subscription / UX
  • Joined classified reviews with subscription events to inform paywall copy and FAQ

Within the observation window, Subscription Created CVR moved from 0.32% to 0.44% (related improvement, multi-factor).

Low-budget growth experiments on an indie product

KikoCard is a self-funded product with no paid-acquisition budget.

  • Designed a creator partnership mechanic: traffic boosts in lieu of upfront fees
  • Built an offline-to-UGC loop: KT-board photo prompts → Xiaohongshu posts → membership perks
  • Shipped Web differentiators (Markdown / long-form splitting / web-to-card) as content supply

Mechanism designed and validated end-to-end; the playbook became a reusable low-budget growth method.
